The mayor has actively thwarted police effectiveness and indicates no intention of changing that stance. What is gained by high crime rates in his city?

Three back to back news stories in Chicago today. First the idiot mayor announced his resistance to having National Guard in the city to help combat crime followed immediately by two other stories. The second detailed the shooting of 7 people on the south side and the next 4 people on the west side. Eleven people shot while the idiot pontificates and does absolutely nothing to address the problem.

Ahem. Elements of the Guard and the Army that would be deployed here are specially trained for urban environments. MPs that would be the bulk of the forces are trained for urban environments. Many units are filled with law enforcement people pursuing their duty as volunteers. My cousin is a LtC in the Guard and is a current NV sheriff, AND former Chicago city cop of many years. People who worry about the professionalism of these people are sorely mistaken…

Johnson is a one man clown show. Where's that "intellectual prowess" he claims to possess? He and JB are terrified Trump will bring things under control in two or three weeks leaving them to explain why they have refused to protect the people.
